The Town of Ault is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill 1 vacant position.
***NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. LAW ENFORCEMENT KNOWLEDGE PREFERED***

Responsibilities

Reserve CSO’s are civilian, non-sworn volunteers who have an interest in law enforcement. They assist the Police Department in various ways by working closely with officers and investigators. Reserve CSO’s will also give crime prevention presentations, provide traffic control, patrol special events and provide crime scene security. There are many other service-related duties that this position can assist and handle. Members of the community are encouraged to join the Ault Police Department’s Reserve Division as a Community Service Officer! Law enforcement knowledge is encouraged, but not required!

Education: high school or GED

Training/Certifications: None

  • Special Requirements:
    Possess and maintain the appropriate CO operator’s license for the type of Town owned vehicle which the employee may operate in the scope of employment;
  • Minimum 18 years of age and U.S. Citizen;
